The coming of spring
April 1, 2014. We've seen some signs of spring on the silver maple and red maple, but otherwise, the trees are still bare.
April 8, 2014. It looks bare still, but something may be happening with that corkscrew willow.
April 16, 2014. It snowed, but that corkscrew willow is definitely looking green. The maples still look bare though.
April 25, 2014. It's not only the corkscrew willow that has some green now. I'm not sure what kind of trees are over on the right by the firs. It looks like something is green across the street too. Most of the trees across the street are Norway maples.

Sugar maple leaves
This sugar maples has some leaves coming out.
Maybe the one that has the leaves gets more southern exposure.

Crabapple leaves
The first day that I saw leaves on the crabapple trees this year was Tuesday, April 15. However, I did not have my camera with me that day. Here are my photos from April 16:
